Fantastic hosts! I typically avoid staying places where the hosts are living there with you,
even if there are no shared spaces, but was attracted to Svetlana and Florian's due to the
location and the possibility of paragliding with Florian. You are staying on the first floor and
have everything you need - fully equipped kitchen, shower, toilet, lounge and living area, and
they are living on the second floor. Any concerns were quickly dispelled when we arrived as
we were greeted warmly and Svetlana showed us around the place. They are clearly proud of
their place, taking the time to even give us a little history lesson (the house is around 400
years old!). We stayed over Christmas, and were pleasantly surprised to see Svetlana had
decorated a Christmas Tree for us, and even added the personal touch of putting on some
ornaments from our country! In addition to this, Svetlana and Florian gave us a present on
Christmas Eve, including a delicious bottle of wine, and Svetlana's home-made marmalade.
Svetlana and Florian were respectful of our privacy but always available if we had any
questions. They were also great company and we spent a good hour and a half just chatting
on our final night. I also recommend guests take up the paragliding option. Florian is clearly
very skilled and makes you feel comfortable throughout the process. He also takes some great
pictures on the GoPro while you are flying so you can just focus on enjoying the experience.
All in all, it was a pleasure to stay with these two, and it was hard to leave. I thoroughly
recommend this place to others, as I know they have some improvements in store that will
make it even better!
